Do I get a Telnet Shell account with the Shared Web
account?
No, we do not provide shell access (SSH) for our user.
Will WNS help me write my web space using html code?
We do assist our customers with connecting and uploading
of the web pages, but we do not support the actual HTML
coding of the page. There are plenty of resources available
on the Internet that helps teach HTML. To find some, just
use a search engine and look for HTML or you can visit our
Webmaster Resources page.
Do you provide technical support?
Yes. We encourage our customers in need of assistance
to use our Helpdesk Support Centre.
However, we provide technical support only, we cannot provide
help with HTML syntax or CGI programming problems. Tech
support is done 7 days a week.
How long your response on tech support?
Any request for technical support will be handled by our
staff as quickly as possible. We aim to have a response
to any request for support within 60 minutes but it depends
on the issues that occured as sometimes it takes more than
3 hours to fully solve the issue.
Do the Front Page extension installed in your server?
Yes,we provide FrontPage Extensions at no extra cost.
What FTP clients can I use?
You may use any FTP client you wish.
How do I transfer files to my web-page?
You using FrontPage go on publish , type in your web
address user name and password. We have install on every
Web server FrontPage extensions the upload process go automatically.
For any other Program you have to use FTP.( direct your
FTP Program to the folder "public_html")

Can I install my own CGI scripts?
Yes, each domain has its own local-cgi-bin. We only
monitor for poorly written scripts that may become resource
hogs.
Is my web-page accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days
a week?
You have unlimited access via FTP or FrontPage 24-hours
a day. As such, you can create and maintain your web pages
on your own computer and upload files to your web site at
your leisure.
Can I get additional disk-space or data transfer?
Yes, you can purchase extra space for our shared hosting
plans. Please visit our respective hosting plans page for more information
Can I setup a 3rd level domain? (e.g. mysub.mydomain.com)
Yes, you can setup a third level domain name such as
anyname.yourdomain.com. The packages are the same as the
one posted for normal domains, the advantage to these is
InterNIC registration is not needed. This means no InterNIC
registration fees.
Do you support JAVA?
Java servlets are not presently supported.
Do you maintain backup of my data?
Yes, we provide weekly and monthly backups of your home
and WWW directories. However, we encourage you to do a backup
of your own for we cannot guarantee 100% backups on our
server.
Can I use ASP script in Linux?
Not at the moment.
